Description

The KC Rakes program is an annual volunteer-led program at Shepherd's Center Central that provides free yard assessments and yard raking service for adults aged 65 years and older in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Goal / Mission

Shepherd's Center Central is a local leader in the regional effort to ensure that all people can age successfully with dignity, security, and respect.

Results / Accomplishments

In 2015, 250 individuals volunteered for the KC Rakes program, contributing 650 hours towards raking 43 lawns.
