Walk the Talk fosters social involvement in budding community leaders through a number of programs targeted towards students and adults, immersing individuals in community projects and GLIDE's fundamental values.

Walk the Talk nurtures community involvement and leadership in individuals.

Results / Accomplishments

Emerging Leaders Summer Internship for College and University Students immerse students in GLIDE's culture and community service projects. Global Ministries teaches and trains groups GLIDE's model of acceptance, empowerment, and love in addressing needs of urban communities. Empowerment 2.0 assists individuals in exploring their commitments to the community. GLIDE UCSF Healthcare Training Initiatives teaches healthcare professionals to address health holistically, with special focuses on chronic disease management, and health education and empowerment.
