MiHIA’s “Call-to-Action for Population Health” Speaker Circuit and broader health messaging efforts aim to share evidence-based health improvement programs and resources available, and how they might best be applied and implemented within worksites, schools, places of worship, community organizations, etc. Improvement in the health factors (smoking, diet & exercise, alcohol & drug use, sexual activity, access to care, quality of care, education, employment, income, family and social support, community safety, air and water quality, housing and transit) will create an improvement in health outcomes.
Goal 1: Provide 12 presentations, reaching 125 unique participants across 7 different counties
- Key Strategy: Collaborate with MiHIA Population Health team, identify new community organizations to share initiatives of MiHIA to reach new consumers across our region.
