A Safe Place is a comprehensive domestic violence program, providing shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence. The emergency shelter accommodates 20 women and children, who may stay for a maximum of 90 days, and has a variety of support services including counseling, provision of basic necessities, legal assistance, support groups, and a children's program. A Safe Place also offers emergency shelter and support services for men who have been victims of domestic violence.

A Safe Place's mission is to break the cycle of domestic and family violence by providing safe shelter and support services to victims and their children and to prevent violence through outreach and education in at-risk populations.
