Diabetes Management: Medicare Population

This indicator shows the percentage of diabetic medicare beneficiaries aged 65 to 75 receiving the three recommended tests. These tests are the hemoglobin A1c test, the retinal or dilated eye exam, and the blood lipids test.
 
Medicare is the federal health insurance program for persons aged 65 years or older, persons under age 65 years with certain disabilities, and persons of any age with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
